Zacminor's New Video

According to Twitter, it's going up in 45 minutes, or about 7pm EST.

While unlikely, given the conversation in the other thread, I'm hoping it will have just the slightest piece of new info, don't care what it is, just as long as it's new! Please post the link in the OP when it comes up!

I'd be happy to derive a city-state and maybe the name of Indonesia's mysterious luxury resource from it. I'm not looking for "new" info.

I'm the same. I'd rather have some clarification on a few points.

Yeah same here, that's what I was kinda meaning by a "scrap" of new info, maybe a new city-state we haven't seen or whatever, anything small would suffice!

They flipped the sheets with the unknown leaders on :p

But not the one one the end showing all of the leaders but I only count six heads so they may not be there.

That's a poster we've already seen, combination of (mostly old) Civ leaders and XCOM characters.

No real new info on BNW
Well, there may not 'real new info' by his standards, but I don't think there's been any video yet that we haven't been able to pull some tiny snippet of information from and then make huge theories based on it.
I'm expecting we'll see some city-states we haven't seen before, a couple tooltips, three wild guesses at things, and something that will cause a major amount of controversy.

You know what I see? I see 4 covered leaders. The video was made before Indonesia and Morocco was announced.

Here is the thing though. The UUs are at the bottom. There are 5 covered UUs. One of the unannounced civs has 2 UUs. The fifth covered UU is just off screen to the left.

Notice how there is no Ahmad al-Mansur and no Gajah Mada? I'm pretty sure this was filmed before their announcement, probably right after they filmed Ed Beach showing that same guy the demo where they are playing as Maria I! :p

Still, so cool! :D Looks like a great place to work!

We also got a little inside to coding and whatnot - notice the little notes about the Feitoria in the whiteboard? Those are class methods, for sure! Maybe they can tell us something? Apparently, ownership changes if the plot beneath it changes owner...

At 5:38, we can see that they thought about spreading tourism through International Trade Routes, and yet that was REDACTED... Or is the REDACTED thing cleaned so we don't see it? :p

Also, what's a Siphon (at 5:53)?
The whiteboard says:
Firaxis' Whiteboard said:
when siphon count changes
when siphon play gains resource }
when siphon play lose resource } :: ChangeNumTotalResources
Something to do with resources... Seems Civ-related, but...

Or it might be another leader screen, like Shaka's at the left there.

not to mention furthering debates on the SimCiv crowd vs. the Civ strategy gamers crowd. ;)

Not really...pretty much everyone in the "SimCiv" crowd appreciates the strategy aspects just as much as the aesthetic/historical appeal.

Not everyone in the "Civ gamers" crowd cares about the "SimCiv" aspects, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are more strategy-minded

Both sides see gameplay as core

I see no debates
