Short Thoughts (~140 char)

The wireless telegraph is not difficult to understand. The ordinary telegraph is like a very long cat. You pull the tail in New York, and it meows in Los Angeles. The wireless is the same, only without the cat.

now I want to know where he said that, I'd laugh but I'd still be pissed if he told me that

I do not recall where I found that quote. I have it in a file on an old HDD I use for backing up and noticed it when I was searching for something else.

Where is the link to nature or the natural world?

Not all haikus
have references to nature
such as dandelion

Counterpoint:

We all hate nature.
It is unnecessary
and a waste of time.

Disclaimer: I love nature

A senryu follows the form of the haiku, but needs no reference to nature, nor kireji which English doesn’t have.
Lack of a connection to the natural world is a modern abomination to the spirit Basho! Such haiku are just an empty scaffold. :p

When are they going to stop making superhero movies already? Not that it matters as I haven’t been in a theater in nearly two decades.
