Something's happening down in Zimbabwe, looks like at least a part of the military has had enough.

Soldiers are reported to have taken over the headquarters of Zimbabwe's national broadcaster, ZBC, amid a growing political crisis.

Explosions have also been reported in the capital, Harare, but the cause is unclear.

This and the fake news coup in Turkey last year are two examples of coups that absolutely needed to happen in my opinion. I hope this one sticks and results in a more stable, less corrupt government.

The only reason Mugabe wasn't kicked out before is the Army is afraid of ousting him without the consent of South Africa (Zuma and the ANC in general are Mugabe backers). That's also why they are insisting he resigns instead of just resigning him from this world.

Bad news for you: the vice-president leading the coup seems to be extremely corrupt, even worse than Mugabe.
