Arab Pikeman, and arab Swordsman are done.
They are several crossbowmen available.
You can use the crusader for the European Swordsman
So that's only 3 new units

Yes, these are actually units that I'm going to have a go at making.

I thougfht they looked a little odd Good luck! Oh, could you mayhaps take thoes Arab models you had Ripptide do for you and make a Fortify Animation for them? It'd be good.

That future soldier looks like a Star Wars Tie Fighter Pilot Zulu, is that where you got your inspiration from?

Yeah, well that Crossbowman is already done (by me)... and Arab Spearman and Swordsman as well (by ripptide). I mean those are exactly the same models we used (all by Jon Malis I think), were the units that.. bad? On a sidenote, Arab Horseman is also already done.

Yes, these are actually units that I'm going to have a go at making.

You're going to start making units? Yay! The more unit makers the better.

The Swordsman and Spearman are based on different models than the ones Riptide made. I intend to use those as Ancient Age, and these as Middle Age. As for some units already being made, I plan on doing unit packs of arabs, europeans, etc. - that way there is a unified look to them.

Just for the the record, two of those sketches actually are mine, and that's one of them. I see where you get the TIE pilot thing from - I know he's wearing a jumpsuit, but that's only because I'm not very good at drawing details on armour! Same goes for the helmet - I put that in because I'm not very good at faces! The inspiration is a mix of the Aliens marine and a future policeman pic I came across Google image search ages ago.

Looks very good, and very natural but the 'swing' goes a bit fast, or is he so fast my eyes can't follow?

You mean right at the end of the animation? If so, that's just the last frame jumping to the first one. I intend to either a)make a longer anim where he swings the sword up to defend and then down to attack, or b)have the swing down as a seperate anim (attack a).

Then the movie is in reverse order or something, cause I see the man bring his sword up, like in the fortify (defend) , and then it jumps to the start/down
