I've seen these been done on a few forums and I thought I would start one. (Hell, it will get 2 posts and end.) To do with Civ 4 though, so no aliens beaming down at 700BC. -The dawn of time- Mansa Musa's settler builds Timbuktu...

Twins Die While Dad Plays Video Game Twenty-four year-old Gregg Kleinmark of Fostoria, Ohio left his ten-month twins in a bathtub unsupervised while he played a game (we don’t know which one) and smoked a cigarette. Both children drowned to death while he was gone. He is being...

    Escape from Atlantis zoo!!

Now its not normal to see a bear past the year 2000, but this one thought he'd show himself, in the wierdest place! I was looking around the sea with my battleship (pictured near the bear.) I saw this bear in the middle of the ocean, just wandering randomly. After a few years it started...

Religion makes easy diplomacy a drag.

Has anyone noticed but unless you have the same religion as a civ, its almost impossible to make friends! I'm not complaining too much but i get too many civs demanding i change my religion to suit their needs.

    A Tip On Town Defence

This might not work sometimes but you might aswell give it a shot. Sentry (Not fortify.) a strong offensive unit in your town, if an enemy comes near that unit will come out of sentry on your next go, therefore giving you a chance to dispose of the unit, or to distract it from your town...

Question About European Version of Civ 4 (All welcome)

Now i may sound nooby, or may sound like i am spamming and wasting your time, but... Seeing as the european version of civ 4 is taking longer than the U.S version, does this mean that the game will contain less bugs? Or does that mean they are having a hard time getting it to europe...

Ways A Spearman Could Beat a Tank!

Spearman vs Tank, the comical incident of an ancient unit vs a modern unit. It has boggled the world! Whats your take on this? Do you think its funny? Do you think it is rubbish? Do you not even give a Mongol horde? If you like the idea of a spearman beating a tank, please post a way that a...

    Softening The Blow

Now i, like many from Europe where getting Civ 4 later than first thought, but if you ordered from play.com (Who probably messed you around a bit, i mean, saying civ wasn't coming out til January for that dreaded hour!) it is coming three days after the American release, softens the blow, ty...

    Trenches

Maybe you could order your workers to construct trenches, then that provides a bonus to certain units, such as archers or musketmen. I think this would be pretty cool, even though there would be an AI stupidity of them building a trench on every square!!

Is the concept of the animal kindom a major part of civ, or just a sideline threat to the weaker units such as the settler. Small Civ Scenario. Male lion: (Puts his smoking jacket on.) Eh love whats for tea? Female lion: Settler dear, with a side of worker. Male lion: I would like mine...

    Alternate endings?

How many alternate endings to civ 4 could there be? Maybe an alien invasion (Already in a thread i know!) Or you are asked by your science advisor: "Would you like to look at our new invention? The time machine?" which takes you back to the beggining of the game but on a harder level. Or a...

    Weather Change

Wouldn't it be cool if that civ would have weather changing? Like when it snows it doesn't just go all white but your people can move across small bodies of water without boats. Or when it rains, ranged unit's odds on winning decreases. And it could also make natural disasters, such as global...
