I believe a good lumping solution when dealing with the NA Indians is grouping them together based on their material culture rather than tribes. So you could include essentially all of eastern NA south of New York extending over to Arkansas under the generic name of Mississippian with it's...
Is this Rama V? He is the best known and most celebrated of the Thai kings and is considered to have modernised Thailand and kept it independant from the colonial empires. He usually is represented with a bushy Bismark-esque moustache and a monocle. Maybe you could add those for the...
You are correct, overlag, in saying that the Americas and Africa are moving away from each other. They have been for about the last 200 million years. Dr. Scotese's work, however, predicts that new subduction zones will open in the future so his ideas are somewhat unconventional. I quote from...
Thanks a lot for the screenshot sabrewolf. Anyone who plays this map, please give me some feedback. Like I wrote before, I let the computer place the resources so I don't know how balanced the map will be.

This is another map adapted from a future Earth prediction of Dr. Scortese. 'Pangaea Ultima' is a possible product of continental drift 250 million years in the future.
This is C3C map of custom size 200x220. Resources and goody huts are placed but not starting locations. I recommend...
This mod is great fun and I've been playing mostly as the Empire since that was my army before.
To the point: In Steph's thread '86 units from Cossacks' there is a unit called the Polish Winged Hussar, which is essentially identical to the Kislev Winged Lancer. I assume this is where the GW...
Given all this wonderful advice here is what I think I will do: have the players start with a couple of good "ancient" (as in higher tech) units, the ability to build a cheap sort of factory, and be able to make a fairly decent defensive unit (maybe like a musteteer). Then, with a later tech...
Hmm, I thought it was possibvle to simply make units obsolete with a certain tech rather than requiring an upgrade path. Well, interesting though the problem may be, I have decided to just add the good units as starting units rather than trying to really simulate the process of degeneration...
This mod sounds great and I can't wait to play. I have one suggestion: maybe you should change the provinces tech to Bureaucracy. That sounds more like a social advance to me.
Eagerly awaiting,
Gisli
