And this is the last one for this batch. I give you Sennacherib of Assyria, in all of his glory!
Religious types might remember him as the commander of the Assyrians who was turned from the gates of Jerusalem by the angels of god. Us non-believers (holla!) know of him as a great ruler of the Assyrian empire of the Mesopotamia. He was not as militaristic as he was portrayed in the bible, and in fact helped build up his capital of Nineveh to its prime. While he did engage in some campaigns against Jerusalem, the majority of his conflict was with the Kush Empire of Taharqa (which was probably why he attacked Israel to begin with, as they were allies with the Nubian Kush Empire).
He could easily be used as a generic near-eastern leader, and he will appear as himself in my Assyrian module!
