2007 CFC GM Mock Draft--It Starts Saturday (2/24)

With the 38th selection, the Arizona Cardinals choose...

Tony Ugoh - Offensive Tackle - Arkansas

Reasoning: Breaking news, the Arizona Cardinals offensive line stinks. Ugoh will hopefully shore up the tackle spot were Oliver Ross has been a huge dissapointment.

With the 39th selection in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans choose...

Michael Bush - Runningback - Louisville

Reasoning: Houston's three biggest remaining needs were DT, S, and RB. With Green in the fold, it means Bush can start his NFL career sharing time instead of getting fulltime coming off his broken leg injury. Also...it helps the fan base stop whining about "passing on Reggie Bush". Wa wa wa.

With the 40th selection in the 2007 draft, the Miami Dolphins select:

Greg Olsen - TE - Miami Fl

Reasoning: The Dolphins may have other more important needs, but this is too great a value to pass up, especially when they just got rid of their starting TE. Olsen is the next from the great line of TE's from Miami and has all the skills to be as successful as his predecessors at the next level.

Well, pawpaw seems to be MIA, he hasn't posted since the last Vikings pick. Hopefully he'll show up today, or else we're going to have to role on past his pick without him.

Since Pawpaw is MIA, I will have to make the pick for him.

With the 41st selection of the 2007 draft, the Minnesota Vikings select:

Ben Grubbs - G - Auburn

Reasoning: The right side of the line was just a mess last year and with all the second round quality tackles off the board, the Vikes address the RG spot where they have Artis Hicks, who is better suited as depth.

*Trade Request*

From: San Francisco
To: Houston Texans

2nd round draft pick & 3rd round draft pick for Michael Bush, RT Brad Bedell and P Cameron Muro.

The trade is cleared as long as Houston is happy with it. (And sorry for the delay, I didn't realize you edited the post until just now)

Houston rejects the trade.

damn, alright then, better not waste the pick on Irons...

With the 42nd selection in the 2007 Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:

David Harris - ILB - Michigan

Reasoning: The 3-4 requires good inside linebackers, both Jeff Ulbrich and Derek Smith are not good inside linebackers. David Harris could turn out to be what they need up the middle.

I wonder why you wanted a runningback anyway...Gore led the NFC in rushing. I think Gore might need a good backup because of his past knee injuries, but not in the second.

Oh, and why would you want any HOUSTON offensive linemen? :p

Sorry about that.

With the 11th pick of the 2nd Round of the 2007 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select

Brandon Siler, ILB, U. of Florida

With the 12th pick in the second round, the Atlanta Falcons select:

Tim Crowder - DE - Texas

Sorry I haven't been managing this thing as well of late as I've been uber-busy. But as it's been like 4 days since the last pick, the show much go on, and with that...

Pittsburgh, speaking of whom, the Steelers are now on the clock.
