21 Civ Brawl!​

BREAKING NEWS! It appears some jerk named Payha1125 started a game of civ 5 with gods and kings AND brave new world installed! Then I decided to make the only possible victory be domination! I added The Netherlands,The Huns, Greece, Spain, The Songhai, Siam, Russia, Rome, Egypt, China, France, America, Persia, The Ottomans, India, The Iroquois, Arabia, Germany, The Aztecs, England, and Japan to the game. I then changed the setting to the map type being Pangaea and the game begin in the industrial era because then I wouldn't have to research my news team. *cough boats cough* I was heavily inspired by http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=408163 The last update from him was in 2012 though, so it's safe to assume the thread is dead. Think of this as a blatant ripoff to said story. I hope you enjoy these news reports!

Hmmmm....... Raspur's leader looks like Harun Al-Rashid, the leader of Arabia. But Silverman is currently playing as Arabia in our worldbuilding game. Which one of you voted in that poll?

BREAKING NEWS! From reporter Dido!

Guys, look! We spawned! WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENNNDS!

After taking a few notes and snapping a few pictures of the land, my news crew set off to seas for an island.

After a few years of sailing, I learned that if the ocean turns turquoise, there's some land nearby. So this made me squeal like a 10 year old girl in a 1D concert!

After a pep talk from one of my cameramen, We saw more turquoise tiles!

Then i interviewed with Wu Zetian of China.
Dido: Nice to meet you, Wu! May I hear about your stance on any other civilizations you have met?
Wu: Derp Merp I have worked on my derp face! What do you think of it?
Dido:... well I have to go found a city, this girl is nagging me a lot about it.

Dido: ♫Hey I just met you, and this is crazy! But here's my city, stop sassing me lady!♫

here is a good time to lay down the rules for me, i have to try to avoid bias( or no trades other then embassies and open borders to there lands) I can only have one city, and I have to try to meet everyone ASAP so i know whose at war with who, and when there is a war with someone I know, I have to rush there immediately so I can get a good view.

Then we meet Darius!
Dido: Hello Darius! what is your stance on your civilization, Persia?
Darius:Why, it's a very fine civilization, probably the best in the world! Even then, though, it's nowhere near as remarkable as me!

After the interview with Darius, I set off my first news boat!

Then as a last minute decision, I set off a small news crew to follow the news boat.

Afterwards I meet Suleiman, who seems to like feasts
Dido: Greetings, Mr.Suleiman! How do you treat other civilizations?
Suleiman: Why hello! I usually try to kill everyone to win, get nukes, and can sometimes backstab you for no reason other then to win! I also may start wars early, and denounce you when you give me the wrong type if apple! So, shall we have a feast to celebrate our acquaintance?
Dido: Umm... sure?

After the surprisingly lovely feast, I rename my city the Civ News Station (CNS), and then make a new news team (AKA a boat and a scout) to explore lands quicker! That's all I have for now! I'll be back on the scene... some time!

This is amazing. I may need to steal this idea someday for my own comedic ends.

I do have one question: why not play as Polynesia? That way you could take to the seas right off the bat and you wouldn't have to worry so much about technology issues. Although I doubt the persona you've adopted for Dido would fit so well.

I chose Dido because that was my civ for my last game, to be honest.
