instead of extoration, the german forces have attack the danes near their capital. wishing to avenge the blood spilled of our christian brothers in france and england by these ruthless vikings, germany acts...

the full scale crusade that is england, france and germany, against these barbarians-the danes- has begun. may the extinction of this breed be the end.

i have a question.... if one of my units has seized the relic and moved it, how do i get that unit to drop the relic? or does he hold on to it for the rest of the game?
Yea I think that's right, once you pick it up you have to keep carrying it. I can't check cos I don't gey one.
Well, this stratergy is stalling a bit for now. The kings in history were not as stingy as you lot, but they survived
I may as well take it to the limit.
Moving troops to fight off the dodgy German attack. I expected that army to do better than that

Berserks only have a defense of 2. swordsmen an attack of 3.
and one of my swordsman did really well before dying

I found a way to drop the relic... upgrade your unit. I don't know if this is a bug but since I did it (without knowing) I thought it would be fair if it is available to everyone.

Hey, is there some sort of strange mod here? As a Christian country, I was supposed to get Western Religion at the start of the next age, which I did not get. I dd get Norse Tradition or some such stuff to start the game. Is this correct?

@ Semental. I didn't change anything there on purpose. I'd have thought that was connected to the civ. I'll have a look at the biq file and see if it is changeable. I changed the order a bit make it easier, maybe it came from that
@KingStuart. Well it seemed to me that the Danes needed to keep everyone else down and use their advantages before everyone got too big. Maybe I'll pay for it later.
