40k NES Preview/Sign-up/OOC Thread

Charles, this is arguably one of the more difficult NESes running on this site, with lots of calculation and book-keeping going on for every turn. Are you sure you are up to it?

If you had been paying attention Charles Li, you would have noticed that Fulton had already passed judgement.

Charles Li, it is obvious from your mangled starting stats, your posting of OOC stuff in the IC thread, and your actions in other NESes that you have not even read the rules, let alone have the capability to follow them.

I am sorry to say that you will not be joining this game.

It is up to him if he will change his position. Perhaps if you look through the rules more completely and show that you can follow them, he might change his mind.

An update on my status:

My computer is completely messed up. I'm going to reformat the damn thing tomorrow. I apologize once more for the extended delay. On the upside, at least I won't be burdened with jet-lag when it finally comes down to writing the flashpoint results.

I'm currently using my brother's computer to type this.

Charles Li,

I stand by my decision to keep you out of this game. Niklas is correct, this is a difficult game. I have seen nothing to suggest you are up to the challenge. Perhaps in the future I might allow you to play a minor faction.

Probely a small isolated planet that miraculously and succefully defended againt a large empire... I'll still follow it though!

Even I Mr.Almost24YearOld am sometimes unsure I'm up to it. But maybe I perchance did the budget correctly this turn :crazyeye:

Ok guys, my computer is in the shop and will be out of commission for up to three weeks. However, I've managed to rescue my game data and am now transferring it to the old desktop in my parent's basement. It has served me faithfully in the past, and I have no doubt shall continue to serve in this time of need. Expect the flashpoint moderation to be finished very soon.

Ok, flashpoint update is up. Once again, if you have any questions or detect any errors, inform me.

Not nearly so interesting as that I'm afraid. But see for yourself, this flashpoint is concluded.

*Can have final orders for you within the week without a problem* To answer your question posed on the IC thread.

Good point. Question moved to a more logical place here:

I'm hesitant to make orders due over the Christmas holidays. I know I won't be able to moderate at all over Christmas/New Years and I'd like to know if many people will be indisposed. So when do you guys think you will be able to have your orders in?

Some people have already submitted budgets with the previous flashpoints, so the burden is eased slightly for some people.

Hrm... I'm going through end of term-exams, quite busy, though not too busy to make order sending impossible.

I'll see what I can do, but in theory sending orders shouldn't be impossible. You know my problems though.

Ok guys, we're all busy, so I'm putting the deadline at the 23rd. That should give most people the time they need. I don't intend to work on them until around the 26th-27th, but I don't want you guys wasting your Christmas Eve/Christmas Day doing this rather than spending time with people you care about.

I remind everyone that orders are due on the 23rd.

Also, there are in game benefits for activity, especially story writing....
