I haven't started doing the update yet due to my time being taken up preparing for my new job teaching this semester.

Btw, Kasen has dropped from the game so the Imperial Lens Network, the faction with the largest economy (but with serious food and resource shortages) is now open for a new player.

Update Update:

I've finished the other sectors, battle mods, diplomacy, and colonies. Only the map, stats, and economy to go.

Should be done tomorrow, is not, than the day after that. Sorry about the time it's taken me. I just started my new job and got a new girlfriend, so I've been a bit busy... sorry guys.

New deadline for orders is Feb.7. This way, I can get the update processed during my light weeks before reading break.

There will be no flashpoint this update cycle.

a_propagandist: I missed your contributing your resources and food to Repaix and Home, I’ll change the frontier piece to reflect their contribution.

FULTON SMASH!!

Dammit, I just learned that Black Industries, the company that produces the Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 role-playing games has just been closed by Black Library, Games Workshop's main book producing company.

I don't get it. The last two major WFRP books sold out! The 40k rpg sold out before it was released on the strength of pre-orders alone just two days ago! AARGH!

Well, my local gaming store will likely have copies. I think I'm the only guy who bought the WFRP books. I can probably pick up the Kislev sourcebook and Dark Heresy there.

If not, then there is also eBay.

I'm mainly angry that they killed Dark Heresy two days after it sold out. It was only the first of three core books. This one covered the Inquisition, the other two were to cover Xenos, Rogue Traders, and the Adeptus Astartes. Aw well... the core system of Dark Heresy is supposed to be strong, and the WFRP has already survived two ages of darkness with no publisher, and Black Industries has left the game stronger than it ever has been. We'll survive.

A reminder that orders are due in on the 7th and that the Lens Network is still looking for prices on food and resources from Vernith, the Hymbaline Reach,and the Heirs of Guilliman.

I don't have any way to tell what the going rate might be. Can I get a ballpark suggestion so at least I'm not orders of magnitude off?

Well, the TTC has offered resources for 75 economy and a minor faction has offered 1 for 100 economy. Probably around 50-100 is not unreasonable, though you can charge any price you think they are willing to pay.

I'm sorry, I can't seem to really get into this right now, despite a fine start. So I think I'll quit for now, though I might rejoin later (if anyone wants to take up the Army while I'm gone, I am not at all opposed).

I am sad to see you go das. It's been great having you onboard, you sure gave the Imperium a run for it's money while you were here. You're always welcome back, as the Army or as someone else. I will NPC the Army and create orders for this cycle.
