Far bottom left corner would be more like anarchist. Communist would be far upper right.

Maybe up up and away, but not to the right. The upper right hand corner is more for right wing fascists. Depending on the interpretation of communism, it also means no authority and no state to control the people, which means that they'd be down in the bottom left.

Unless we're talking Stalinist Communism, at which point, yeah, that's authoritarian as hell.

Oops, I meant to say far upper left, I wasn't thinking straight, my bad. Also, when I say communism, I mean how every single communist country has been run, which is far upper left.

Last time I did the isidewith test, I got Bernie. Took it again and I still got Bernie. Almost 100% actually, but we disagreed on some issues.

For example, I feel that we do not need to federally require labeling of GMO foods, and we need to increase our support of Palestine.

This is my political compass btw.

I'm straight dab in the middle, still.

Has anyone here heard of Markiplier? He's a youtuber I absolutely love that plays games, he's among the most popular youtubers. Anyways, he often did live sketches with a youtube group known as Cyndago, consisting of Matt, Ryan, and Daniel. It was announced yesterday by Markiplier in a video I'll post in a second that Daniel Kyre had died after going into a coma due to a failed suicide attempt. No words can express the way I feel, he was almost a part of me it seemed.

Link to video.

That's really sad CK, the death of a close person is a really bizarre feeling to deal with. :(

In other news, I wanted to come here to share with you guys why lately I have been so rarely coming here to do a major post on a story I participate, or to realease anything new about the Caliphate. Most here know what it is to be a student, especially a college student, but that isn't enough to slow me down like this . What has truly changed is my work as a teacher. I have been giving* private classes a lot more then before, which has been consuming most of my days. And it's not like working in an office, with a pc connected to the internet, bosses that can't monitor you the whole time, and plenty of spare time to come here and do the stuff I like. I have to keep moving from place to place for the whole day, so I can go everywhere I have to.

And these classes are becoming something quite pleasant. I really like to teach. One of the best sentences many of my students have already told me is: The class is already over? It feels like it has just started!

I have been teaching math, physics and chemistry, but mostly math. I was going to give a history class today, but unfortunately it was canceled.

The bad side is the lack of free time to spend here and to play games. But at least I'm sure I have 2 seasons of the year that I don't teach, and by those times I really hope to come here more and spend my time reading through these interesting stories or contributing with those stories I participate.

Spoiler :
*I don't know why, but something tells me that this word, although it is the one used in portuguese for such a situation, seems wrong. Is it correct to say 'give a class' in english? Or do you use another verb?

That's really cool Spirictum! I'm happy for you :) On the English word, you can give a class. That's acceptable, but if you're uncomfortable with that you can say just say teach. If it's simply a private session though you would say that you tutor them on whatever subject. If it's a small group or one on one tutoring would be better, but class wouldn't be wrong. Someone can say "I give/teach a class down at the university on physics"

Thanks for the compliment and the lesson ;)

Congrats Spirictum!
I'm also interested to know if it's more like private tutoring or actual teaching to a bunch of students at school.

I did the former when I was in my later high school and early university years, but then time requirements for labs and study made me quite free time-less.
I concur that it is a very warming feeling to teach someone that is happy and interested to learn!

That's awesome, Spirictum!

In other news, I have a very important question: who is better, Millard Fillmore or Franklin Pierce? My friend and I have been fighting about this for upwards of 6 months.

Presidentially or otherwise?

Truman confirmed Franklin Pierce to be the hottest president ever.
Then again, Pierce had to deal with a crippling depression caused by his son dying in a horrific accident just before his inauguration and ended up drinking himself to death.
YMMV.

I am really loving the fact that I picked up a Chinese class this year, and am learning the language. It's a good thing I dropped Arabic for this, because Chinese feels so much simpler than that would have been.

I don't know anything about Chinese, but I do know that Arabic isn't that complicated of a language. It has its roots which can be manipulated to make a variety of words.

slm (using these as a substitute for the arabic letters of seen, lam, and meem, since these letters have similar phonetics to one another) make the root word that means peace. From that root you can make Islam, Muslim, Asalam walaykum etc. The rules on plural, singular and dual objects as well as male and female pronouns can be confusing though.

That said, I'm glad you're enjoying Chinese.

Congrats Spirictum!

Private tutoring. I go to their places and teach to a single students or to groups up to 3. Most prefer individually though.
