WAR IN CHINA HAS EFFECTS. Lanzhou, Republic of China. After over twenty years of unceasing warfare, the Chinese militaries have seen effects. Veteran soldiers of both Republican China and Communist China have seen incredible amounts of modern warfare which they have passed on in training to new recruits. Never in modern history has a single nation maintained a status of total war and mobilization for so long, and the war in China, even with the events of this year, seems no where close to turning. (+1 Army Quality for Republican and Communist Chinas)
NAVAL RESTRICTIONS AT AN END ON KOREA. Seoul, Korean Empire. The treaties concluding Koreas first intervention into China have begun coming to an end as naval restriction deadlines passed this year. The Korean navy is no longer limited in the amounts of ships they are allowed to possess in their fleet. Whether or not this marks the onset of a new naval buildup remains to be seen, particularly with the recent naval victories over the communists off the Chinese coast.
COUP ATTEMPT IN GUANGXI. Ghangzhou, Guangxi. Republican soldiers were caught attempting to instigate a coup in the nation of Guangxi. The warlord there, though he has been declining in popularity managed to catch the attempt well beforehand. The Republican soldiers were ambushed, encircled, and utterly destroyed in their effort. Though recently his support base has been deteriorating, the warlord of Guangxi has aptly used this event to rally his generals behind him once again, portraying this effort as a sign of the perfidy of the republican regime and runaway leftist tendencies. This has given a new life to his public support, ensuring a more stable government in the province. (-15 Infantry Brigades, 3 Armored Car Brigades for Republican China; -6 Infantry Brigades and +6 Stability for Guangxi)
RUSSIA CEDES LAND TO UCC. Peking, Union of Chinese Collectives. With the recent years defeats at the hands of the Chinese communists, the Russian Federation has ceded control of the territories taken from the imperial government to the Union of Chinese Collectives. This includes the ancient capital of Peking, which has given some legitimacy to the communist government in the eyes of the people of China. The plebiscite held in the region overwhelmingly supported the Chinese government, and has granted some major support for the communist regime, as volunteers flood in from Russian Manchuria. WAR IN CHINA. Yancheng, Union of Chinese Collectives. The communists have managed to score an impressive victory against the republican armies this year. The Battle of the Yellow River involved small warships of both the communists and republicans, and through numbers, the communists emerged victorious. The ships were then able to destroy the main bridges and constantly maraud the main cross-river shipping points for the republican army. This was followed by a massive assault by the communists on republican forces north of the Yellow River. The republicans withdrew what they could to the south where they launched another offensive against smaller communist forces. However, the defeat in the north and communist control of the rivers has clearly inhibited republican advances, limiting the territory they have been able to reestablish control over. Despite the drawbacks, the republicans have managed to drive east, threatening to secure control over the most populous regions of China. Another battle was fought in the north where the republicans attempted a river crossing, meeting with such heavy apparent resistance, that they withdrew the offensive after a large number of casualties were reported with no gain. In the southeast, other major fights occurred as Guangxi pressed against the forces of Fujian. Some talk has even been raised about the aristocracy of Fujian recognizing the warlord of Guangxi as the true successor to the imperial throne.
Casualty List
Republican China: 55 Infantry Brigades, 6 Cavalry Brigades, 6 Artillery Brigades, 3 Tank Brigades, 1 Monitor, 3 Destroyers, 1 Zeppelin Bomber Squadron

CRISIS OF THE CHINESE COAST. Jeju, Republic of New England. With the aid of New Englander crews, the Korean Empire has scored a major victory over the communists supporting the Union of Chinese Collectives. A massive communist convoy was spotted headed north of the Philippines, just barely within New Englander waters. The convoy consisted of SUSA troop ships and Mexican destroyers. The New Englander 7th Fleet destroyers made sure that the Koreans were aware of the convoys course and position until ships came to intercept. Two Korean dreadnoughts made short work of the Mexican escort and the SUSA troop ships. It is estimated that over ninety thousand communist soldiers may now rest at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, making the fight one of the bloodiest naval battles in Asian history. The Korean navy won another easy victory when Russian dreadnoughts taken by the communist Chinese were once again intercepted and destroyed. The Chinese crews, poorly trained and with no experience, were easily outmatched and destroyed by the Korean fleet.
Casualty List
Communist China: 1 Destroyer, 3 Dreadnoughts
UCNA: 12 Destroyers
SUSA: 30 Infantry Brigades

@flyingchicken: I still dont see how the Axis has submarines 2 or even oil power for that matter. I have seen no confirmation of any trade which would allow yall to have it. Therefore money spent on MR Subs was banked.
Armored Cars and Zeppelins are now considered common knowledge due to mass proliferation.
@Milarqui: Weve discussed your question before, and the answer remains a probable yes, though if something were to change in the first country you mentioned, or a hostile
power was to say, claim them, you may be justified in adding them to your protectorate.
@Circuit: I have a number of problems with your story. First of all, the Socialists were elected into power and the nation was never a communist one. Communism as a violent revolution never reached popular proportions.
@communists: I know what youre thinking of doing next year. The problems you had this year are nothing if you dont heed my earlier warnings.
