Hi posters,

I have noticed lately that there are certain things in life that are more precious than others. I joined this forum just before I entered high school and I have since graduated and am now a freshman college student. For the past four years, I've always valued friends, relationships, and status as the most important parts of my life. For me, friends and girlfriends were like points to be collected for a game, and I aimed for the top score.

The fallacy in my behavior has always been apparent to me but it is only now that I consciously recognize how wasteful the pursuit of those goals are. Now, I find that the books I read, my family, and the things I learned in school are endlessly more fulfilling and lasts me much longer.

Now I am wondering what kind of goals do you have? What kind of accomplishments do you think will last a life time? I am really interested in what has been the most fulfilling activities you've done.

When I started reading your post (and given the title) I thought it would go something like this instead:

The fallacy in my behavior has always been apparent to me but it is only now that I consciously recognize how wasteful the pursuit of those goals are. Now, I find that I just want diamonds. Lots and lots of diamonds. Enough to fill my pockets, enough to stud my teeth with, enough to wear a gaudy ring on each finger and tow. Love fades, diomonds are forever...

Family. I have two little brothers and I try to be the best big brother I can be and build lasting relationships with them.

I wonder how valuable was your inscription on the forum in your former goal of collecting points with girlfriends...

My largest aim in life is to wear a turtleneck sweater the right way.

Oh and to beat the living snot out of some iraqi kids.

My aim is to make a religon and have my followers give me all their money. Anyone intreasted in joining the Pink Panties and Giant Manboobs Society for the Protection of Bollocks from Gay Sikhs?

I don't really have any goals... I'm just ambling through life right now, looking for something to live for. It's fun.
