A Kinder, Gentler Moderator's Warning Font?

How about an image in the post, followed by the reason of action?

On that "other site"... I've have found images to be very usefull. People notice them (since they do stand out)... But either way, people that ignore Mod posts get what they deserve ;)

ok, the font color is changed to the brown color suggested by gonzo. :)

Brown? Just when I was getting used to green... :)

firebrick wont work in extreme, sienna wont either, and teal wont work in pale white very well :p

PURPLE WORKS!!!!!

OR

perhaps a mean, slightly red tinted dark grey color....

TEST:
Moderator Action: Please accept this as the new official moderator warning font color, oh wise and great Thunderfall. I shall sacrifice 10 virgins in your honor!

EDIT 11: Got the color optimal now! 600FOF is the hex code..it's a maroon hybrid. I just lessened he red and increased the green and blue just a bit! Can this be the new mod warning TF? Pretty please oh wise one? I am your humble servant oh great :king:

It is a bit serious and laughable. Like w/ a lot of other colors before, no color put up for change has really scared me much on Dark Blue. On other settings it might - such as the old Yellow Green, perhaps.

Go ahead and laugh..see what happens....

Clearly, nothing except for red will work on dark blue the same and red wont work well on bloodlust. The color is meant to be easily readable not to scare you. However, the green did kind of have the opposite effect ;)

Funny switch :) But not as spontaneous as mine so I declare myself the victor! :D

Anyways, I think TF can order his own virgins online...they're too tough to find over here......

I didn't mean it seriously. I know what would happen if I did laugh.

The best solution would be to look at the CFC style the offender has and post the warning in that color because it pertains to him/her rather than anyone else.

I know that! I was just giving you hard time :D

Bah! More work for me=bad idea :D

Plus we'd have to put in the vb code for bold, the color, and underline, then undo the underline after the mod action and put in please read the forum rules w/a link all in small black type.

TF could also make different mod warning codes to warn users with different styles but I wouldn't want to memorize and have to use the diff codes and a lot of the time you are warning several users w/different styles.

Basically, i like it the way it is now :)

He's using his authority on me!

Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

LOL....and yet another reference to monty python on CFC......:D

hbdragon88 almost volunteered back there as well but I'm in a good mood :-D

Also, did any of you ever notice that good and mood don't rhyme!?!?!?

Let's scrape the other styles, not enough people actually use them, we were fine before them, and they take up space and resources. :mischief: I DEMAND my mischief smilie NOW~! ;)

EDIT!!! Bless you TF! :D

:mischief::mischief::mischief:

(sorry for the spam :D. I never knew this smilie existed, and I have been looking all over for it! My prayers have been answered...)

I thought each mod had their own color? (I only read the first page :D)

Well, we do sort of do that...
How about pink with a lime green background? ;)
