Princess Bride?

It's on Netflix instant view; put down your Civ game and watch it right now. ;)

One problem with the :):):):)ing Netflix is that they don't caption/subtitle their English speaking online movies. But Araktor gave a part where it was relevant and I say this:
 Gotcha :D.

and it didn't blink, it just stayed on the screen.

here is the logs folder from the OOS from my end

ya ruthless ai would be nice for mp haha

yeah thanks wildfire, get me all excited for that

I hope this didn't make it into the official release without discussion. Last minute sudden changes are not good practice.

Stone and Marble are rare resources. This will make these buildings difficult to build.
I could live with the aqueduct. I frankly don't know what an Artesian Well is. I don't think I have Pottery in my game (isn't that part of the Early buildings mod?)

But I strongly object against the sewer system. It has been built using metals (also in ancient times) and plastics (recently).

Finally, this change makes an implicit connection between health and stone/marble. Is that really desirable?

Well what is an aqueduct made of in real life? As far as I know its stone or cement. Its also plausible that it can be made of marble.

As for the sewers they had made them out of brick (aka pottery) and cement too.

And yes pottery is part of the early buildings mod.

This change did not get put into Better RoM, it got put into the Water Mod. If you install the Water Modmod, you get this; if not, then not. ;)

Thanks.

That would be amazing if you can. Also, I completely forgot ruthless AI was SP only

Not your fault, I didn't realize one of the changes I made would break MP. I got this corrected for the next patch, so you can use Ruthless AI again then. ;)

I lived in a town years ago where all the underground piping was made of wood.

Indeed. When orginally designing the water mod I was hoping that the Timber resource would have been put in the game before. I guess the only way to simulate this is to wait until the "Goods" mod is put in place and more slot open up for "resources" as old building made resources convert over to "Goods". I suspect the major map resources would be things like Wood or Papyrus or Clay which the game is really lacking.

Don't worry overmuch. I suspect Afforess just have few weaknesses in English language area sometimes. I, however, do know for sure that he love your analysis. Your analysis is one of very few organized posts that appears in this thread and this sub-forum that help Afforess consider his next moves :D.

Thank you for your nice words. The simple fact is that I'm not an English native so I'm afraid sometimes that my sarcasm and humor might be lost in translation and taken as an insult. Which is of course not my goal :)

@TanSerrai,

I believe all of your concerns have already been addressed in the official release. ;)

Thanks! Oh yes! I know that the official release is out already (yay!), I mainly wanted to provide some gameplay feedback. Question: is there also a 'production and/or support boost' for the AI included in 1.60? If yes, then I'm ecstatic, if no, then I'll hope for a future release.

Last question: Is there an alternate download of 1.60 availiable? I continue to have problems when downloading from sourceforge (main reason for my current game being still beta10): the download starts, then stops after 350kb, loading roughly 1kb every 10secs while telling me that the thread is loading at 65kb/sec.

So I was looking forward to my day off to try out the "Raging AI" in beta12, and its not there!
Since Im losing sunlight fast on my end of the world (Canadian winters suck!) Im hoping someone can point me in the direction where I can find one

Sourceforge has a lot of mirrors. Look into them.

It's called "Ruthless AI" and try the official release. It's at the very bottom of the list of the game options. ;)

Cement needs to come earlier, the Romans invented it
