Yeah, Firaxis decided not to display this information to the user. At one point, I made it so users could see coastal/river buildings in non-coastal cities, but greyed out. But I reverted back due to numerous complaints.
 
not sure if any1 else has had this issue but
i have found a bug with AND and 1 of the random map generators. full resources 300 and AND 1.60beta6 cause a CTD even before i try to generate a map. i have been trying to find if its do to a specific module but have had no luck yet. i know it worked with earlier betas and 1.55.
ill post again when i know more

The Full of Resources mapscript does not work with RoM.

Depends. Do you have access to a set up SDK compiler? If so, it's a snap. If not. :lol:

I can add a toggle switch in the global defines if you want though.

As soon as EmperorFool finishes his tutorial, I'll add a new BUG panel for all my changes... ;)
 
Is it likely that there will be another release soon? I ask because I was intending to begin a new game with 1.60 but will hold off if so.

Not for a couple of days, beta6 seems relatively low on bugs...
 
Hi,

I don't know if it's just me, but when I have the score display open, my team lags really bad. But If click my name to hide all the other players, the lag goes down a lot. It took me awhile to figure that out and it made the game way smoother...

not sure why it did that, might have something to do with my TXT_KEY things showing up wrong.

I think it's that cool new Assimilation mod. It tells you that you can build the Persian UU and UB in the city. I think the city and units built there keep the same art too. I'm a big fan of it.

Did OS79 fix the Marathon turn incraments? They are a little messed up.
Also the mouse hover is no longer showing the latitude and longitude.
 
Marathon turn increments are messed up? I just started a 1.60 Beta game. Is there anything I need to edit if it needs fixing?

Told you to go to Marathon entry and go down to the last turnincrement and change the number 500 to 600, then change the MonthperIncrement from 6 to 5.

That should have you at 1500 turns.

Otherwise, what is the problem? Elaborate please.

PS: Be sure to modify the XML entry from Afforess' required folder, not the RoM/Assets/XML/GameInfo :).

Are there supposed to be two different Bakers Guilds?

I corrected this while making the Guilds modular. I've not finished it yet, about 4 guilds left to do, then to check it over to be sure it's all good, before uploading. Hopefully it'll be up friday or this weekend.
 
OS79 - I read back a few pages and saw you mention the fix for the marathon turns. Unfortunately I'm not a modder and upon looking through the games folders I cannot figure out which file I should be editing.
Could you please give me the file to edit path?

Guys, no offense, but of all the possible errors, on a zero to ten, this rates as a point five. Seriously, it has no "actual" effect on gameplay, it's purely aesthetics. I've already got everything corrected, just be patient.

Hey Afforess I was just playing a game and this poped up (in the middle of the game) and I have no way of closing it, I had to crash the game any idea what it is or way it did it?

No idea why that appeared, it's not anything I've added.

Sidenote: If you ever get a popup you can't seem to close, the esc key will always allow you to exit the popup. ;)
