A New Dawn Beta Builds

I've altered NO files in doing so. I literally deleted my entire Rise of Mankind folder when it was modded up with the MegaCiv pack, dropped the base 2.9 Rise of Mankind folder, and installed 1.70 beta11 over it. I then tried installing the beta10, then tried installing the beta10 and the beta11 one after the other.


RoM2.9 loads without issue

There is no beta11, or beta 10 of 1.70. The beta's stopped at 3. What on earth are you installing?
 
SHITS. Holy hell, I was installing the 1.60 beta 10-11.

This just raises another question: Where the hell did my 1.7 download go?!

I must say, I'm impressed by what you've included on your wish-list for 1.71 :D
 
A few days I not came, I would like to say hello to everyone which I miss.
Is there any new feature or improvement about AND1.70 I should know?

P.S. I have not finished the game which I started in early March yet, maybe a new version with some features will encourage me to end it. :)
 
@Afforess, could you include my basic RoM stuff in AND link.

  • minor graphics changes - new graphics for trade caravan and viking longboat (button)
  • some of Orion Vereran's wonders modified for RoM
  • static wonder movies for some RoM wonders not provided with movies
  • spies upgrade to agents
  • tea mod

Even though movies don't play in AND properly or consistantly and Vintcentz is providing the spy upgrading to agent in his mod.

I have to get on to updating my AND mods and there is a couple of minor fixes I want to make to AAranda's units before I suggest including them.

Don't expect to see any new install options, but your changes have all been included. Orion Veterans wonders are included in Historical Wonders, Spies upgrading to Agents is in Better RoM, and the longboat button & Movies & Caravan are now in Better Artwork. ;)

And so my stuff disappears into other's work yet again:mischief:. On a side note, I woke up at 3am with an idea which would see your war prizes mod, SO's capture slaves mod and the subdue animals mod all merged into one plus it would give back some of the piracy stuff from civ III. I just need to figure out if it is really doable. Also would replace Zebra9's zEnslavement mod ;)

You've been credited for everything in the installer, and if you pull up the Credits tab in the BUG tab, your name is there too. ;)

Now that sounds great:goodjob:, i am the reason Zebra9 made that zEnslavement Mod in the first place, he and i were working together on my The Realms Mod. Till he dropped out of site. Same as Ket, TheLopez, DutchKing, enasz and alot more.:(
 
I've just remembered another issue from 1.70 beta 2 - the Mapster corporation gave me the quest to acquire 3 more sources of each of their resources, which were the musicals, records and movies. Since I was the one to build the Broadway, that obviously wasn't going to ever happen - I think Mapster and the Red Curtains should probably be exempt from giving this particular quest.

Bah, there is no limit to how long a thread can be. Who cares if it gets to be over 100 pages? :lol:

ease of use, most threads get closed after they pass 1000 posts
 
I was figure that closure was decent at 2000 posts, so it can get archived
