A way to hide/ignore threads?

Well, not because you thought about it - because I haven't thought about it though I actually looked for a long time for a way to link to searches and didn't find it. :) It seems a surprisingly simple solution to me.

It's tricky though, because certain commands are buried in the java. Of course, you're probably much better at figuring this crap out then I am.

Pity there isn't a section created for the express purpose of whining about (Insert country name or leader here) not being in whatever version/expansion and dumped there, leaving the boards for some serious discussion, instead of useless crap clogging up the boards. This kind of stuff is what drives others to find new places to post, and is totally counterproductive. If they don't like it, why don't they just write Firaxis and gripe?

Call me disgruntled, but it's how I feel. :(

I cannot abide Apolyton; they're... shady. 'Nuff said on THAT, there's lots more, but it's not family-oriented.

I'll have to look at Realms Beyond Civ. Thanks for the tip, jkp1187.

Oh, and as a follow-up, we should probably also create a separate forum for threads that go something like this:

"I just started playing Beyond the Sword yesterday, and in my first game, the AI surprised me by taking advantage of feature X, and as a direct result, won the game. Clearly feature X is broken and needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY."

So you were surprised that you didn't think of it first? :p
