AAranda's mods for 2.8 (some of them)

Just wondering...is this in the process of getting updated to AND 1.74?

Maybe. I know what the problem is and how to fix it for AND. I would just prefer to have only one version so when I get to it I want it to work for RoM. I just so not have much time at the moment to spend on the computer let alone RoM or this mod.

Having said that it will never be compatible with building upgrades and parts of it will "break" what is being tried with that mod. It may also "break" BetterRoM. In both cases it will probably work with those mods it will just undo the balancing done by them.

Oh...I see. I just really hope at least the religions get updated soon because I really like playing with those in RoM and AND.

Interesting...I might have to check out your mod, but I really like that AAranda's had 11 new ones. It makes it so not one can get too powerful. Also I like playing with Clash of Civilizations because it add so many new civs.

Well NWA has 12 EXTRA, all done by Dancing H's updates and i updated even more in NWA.

I am doing my final testing today so I should be able to get a new version up which is working with both RoM 2.92 and RoM/AND 1.74.

I've been at my wits end trying to figure out a very odd problem for the past couple of days. While using the Religion mod, Ive noticed that for some reason, religions seem to be being formed in cities without even researching them first. Ive also noticed that sometimes, after i research a religion, one will be chosen automatically for me, even when I have "choose religions" selected in the options. Any insight as to what might be causing this?

Mods I am currently using:

RoM 2.92
AND 1.74G
ROME 3.10a
some clash of civilization civs

I know that there is a bug in RoM 2.92 with both the "choose religion" and "limited religions" options. I do not know if these have been fixed in AND 1.74 or not. I have been playing without these options with AND 1.74F and some of ROME but no Clash since my graphics card can't handle them. I have had no problems.

Some screen shots may help:confused:.

Oh, Ill try it without those options then. I didnt know that was a RoM issue. Thanks for the imput, and all the great work updating the religion modules.

It seems that sounds don't work.. Sound isn't modular, is it?
So, I modified original Audio xmls, but sounds weren't loaded.

Sounds aren't modular. That is why you need to run the woc-installer, as per step 2 of the installation instructions. The woc_installer does all that is needed, which I think is just updates the main audio files with the audio files for each religion.

I think the main problem is that presently their is a WAVE file and a MP3 file of some of the religions for the sound, you need to get rid of the wave file, cause MP3 ones work better.

I ran woc-installer and files were merged, but still sounds weren't played..

I remember having this problem once or twice while testing. The only way I could fix it was to replace the Audio folder with the original one from RoM 2.92 and then run the woc_installer to redo all AND and other mods in one go.

I do not make the sound files or even the XML files with the sound, I reuse other peoples work and just make sure the XML points to where I have the sounds.

I have found JARM and Rapture to be a great source for all sorts of bits and pieces. ;)

I have no idea about why.
I even tried it in RoM (not AND) and it failed. I gave up it now. :crazyeye:

I know the Druid one is not working correctly, i get NO sound whatsoever from that one:(

But i also again am in the process of deleting the file that both contain a WAVE file and a MP3 file that are "named" the same, the WAVE files just do not work correctly, whereas the MP3 one's work great.

I noticed that the Tengrii one has no sound either, the buildings do but.

As far as I know the reason for two (wave and MP3) is for sound options support.

Glad to know it. I tested just Druid. :)

EDIT: Asatru founding movie has no sound. But other sounds works.
