Accelerated Production

Hmm, I've got a question to all experienced civers. Do you play using AP mode? I have noticed that game is faster in this mode (as it suppossed to be) and I gain better results (probably because of the ending year which is in my cause ~1200AD for dipl/space).
So, I'd like to hear some your oppinions...

Some use it, some don't. Some don't like to wait, some feel it throws the game balance off.

There is an Acclerated Production Mod, which attempts to tweak it. It's in the creation and customization section. I've never played it, but I've heard good about it.

AP ruins the game balance so I never play with it on. It's mostly designed for multiplayer where you want a lot to happen in a few turns. If you are too inpatient to play without I would suggest using the AP mod.

I have just started using it, and it makes the game go much faster. I think I like it

The Japan conquest has AP turned on automatically.

I've used it from time to time. Not a bad feature if you are looking to get an entire Civ game done within a weekend.

But most of the time I play with it off, as I like the pacing of the game as is.

i use it on higher levels, gives me the opp. to keep up with the AI i find

Every two turns? I thought it was only shield production that was increased...not food.

What does it actually do? I never played with AP on ao I don't even know how fast it gets.
