Ack! I can't see!

I'm liking the blizzards my Illian terrain is generating. Adds a nice organic aesthetic to the spread of snow that was missing with just the temples of the hand.
However, I can't see through them all! I'm zooming in and rotating my camera to some effect, but I am ultimately hampered by these huge clouds blocking everything. Is there some way to mitigate this or, perchance, a graphical change that might be administered?

agreed, also Auric Ascended's graphic effect sucks, it doesn't let you see the surroundings. damn fancy graphics that get in the way of playing.
