Why Kiyomizu-dera?
Because Kiyomizu-dera is the last CiV missing WW in the list of winners and finalists at the "New 7 Wonders of the World" contest, held in Lisbon 2007
More details:
Winners (7) ---> 5 CiV vanilla, 2 by mods
Finalists (14) ---> 8 CiV vanilla, 6 by mods

Stop one of the hunts :(

Just now I realize why I'm holding these wonders since ages. I forgot once again that one of them is already been released by 2K. Times ago I made splash and icon for St Basil on Red Square forgetting that The Kremlin was already in game. Now I've forgotten it again, announcing these two new wonders.

Well, you are aware now that one of the two was St Basil on Red Square and that I'll not release it.

But there is still the second wonder to guess.... :crazyeye:

Who nows, some day, someone might even mod out the Kremlin from his/her games.
Might even make a mod without it, and then St Basil is a great option to have ,)

Times ago I was working on new NWs in order to find a way to add them into the game
Unfortunately there is no way to produce NW 3D arts atm
In the meantime try to enjoy such my old attempt as a WW

Thanks for bringing this to the world mate!

I was totally unaware about terraces, but when in january I read about the finding under the lake, I searched more info about them and I discovered this wonder for the first time :)
I think that if terraces were still alive, modern tourist business would have ruined them as well :(

I have a question (and favor) to ask:

Is it possible to add some code to the xml file for a specific wonder that would limit the production of that building to a specific civ (or civs)? I assume this has to be possible as there are civ-specific buildings (e.g. china's paper maker), but I can't seem to figure out how.

For example, I'd like to add a couple likes of to the xml file for The Totem wonder so that ONLY HIAWATHA is able to build this wonder.

If that's possible and someone could give a quick example, i'd seriously appreciate it.

ha you are correct. unfortunately, i have been having some compatibility issues with this mod and the most recent version of Thal's VEM. Since I can't figure out why, and i don't use every additional wonder mod, I figured the most stable way to go about such a change would be to edit the actual wonder mods themselves.

even in the past few minutes i noticed that some additional wonders mods contain the following file:

wonder/XML/Civilizations/wonder_Civilizations.xml

this file contains the following

I don't see why it wouldn't, but that would mean the files would be very big and civs which have been modded into your game and future DLC you buy would not be exempt.

I already have all DLC civs and don't use any other custom ones, so now would be a good time to just heft through the intricate copy/paste find/replace process.

You mentioned file size, does that make a big difference in gameplay (turn time in particular)? Say I add such a file to a dozen or so (now civ-specific) wonders with the additional xml, do you think it would have an impact?
