The answers:
A. Yes, we got Monarchy from the AI!
B. No, far from it. They all at least lack 4 techs and Republic on top of that!
C. Yes, we were lucky after getting Monotheism.
D. Naturally. I bow to no one.
E. No, they could reach us with a galley. But they lack Writing
F. E. isn't true, so same for F.
IHT: We have the Great Library. This means that we have to take measures to avoid a culture win. I
sell the Temple which we can miss. We still have 6 happy citizens. I maximise on income and can now push science back to 70% (Mono still in 2, +22 gpt).
IT: Constantinople: dromon->dromon.
Turn 1 (150 BC) Warrior is exploring our island.
IT: We discover Monotheism and:
Let's use this one for Copernicus! It is possible to get more than one SGL at the same time and the Scientific Golden Age doesn't work..
Turn 2 (130 BC) Science to 100% (-10 gpt). Curragh upgraded to Dromon for 45 gold.
IT: Constantinople: dromon->dromon.
Turn 3, 4 (110, 90 BC)
IT: Constantinople: Dromon->Worker (skimming). France finishes Artemis and The Maya finish the HG.
Turn 5 (70 BC) 4 dromons seem enough to me to guard our coast. More of them would hurt our treasure. I sell Writing to France and Egypt, for 98 gold and 77 gold.
IT: Worker->wealth.
Turn 6, 7 (50, 30 BC)
IT:
The Maya demand Writing and I decline. We are at war. Three wars are going on now!
Turn 8 - 12 (10 BC, 10 - 70 AD)
IT: Egypt demands Philo and I say no.
The war with Egypt is the 4th we have currenctly.
Turn 13 (90 AD) Theology still in one with science at 30% (+56 gpt).
IT: Theology comes in, now what to research next? We get Monarchy from the Library.
Turn 14 (110 AD) After a long thought I decide to go for Education. It will speed up our research and I don't expect anything from the AI soon.
Turn 15 (130 AD)
Some things about my turn: I decided to go for science all the way, so I built only a few dromons, sold the temple and pushed research towards Education, despite the TGL.
We have a SGL and I like to see it used for Copernicus. I understand that we need a temple at some point, but for now wealth is helping our income and thus our science.
Next building would be university, as I see it, then Copernicus, then a bank.
I believe that 4 Dromons (now fortified) can kill the galleys coming towards us (using the lethal bombardment from sea squares!).
I can understand when we decide to have more troops however. But I felt quite safe.
The most dangerous situation would be that a 'friendly' civ lands units next to our city. We need the firepower to defeat the first attack wave.
Also as soon as we see galleys from others, we can trade with them! The best way to get more hapiness is through luxuries

I like to see us trading techs only for reasonable prices.
I sold Writing for almost nothing, but at the time we needed income for research.
All open for debate of course! I also like a new report from Microbe about our culture course
