Just wanted to chime in on the Windows page file discussion. As an IT professional, I have one piece of advice on disabling Windows' page file: Do not do it.

The "disabling the page file forces Windows to run the programs in RAM" is a misunderstanding.

This is off-topic, but if all of Sisiutils' readers begin messing with things Man Was Not Meant To Know (like essetial Windows system settings), we will have tons of "my Civ keeps crashing" posts in the technical forum.

hey sisiutil, when you are you going to have another update for Princes?

Unfortunately, that will also have to wait for the new computer to show up, since I will have to install my old hard drive in order to access the Princes games and screenshots.

The new computer should arrive either late this week or early next. Probably the latter; I'd be pleasantly surprised if Dell delivered on holidays.

In the meantime, I'll probably start the pre-game thread for the next ALC so we can stop swapping Windows configuration tips.
