You are probably alone on that one.

While I agree not to drift too far off the topic, this is a place where people share opinions. Even Sisiutil welcomes everyone's suggestions. If it waste your time to read other people's suggestion, just click on Sisiutil's name and read his post only. People keep bumping the tread to the top because it's one of the best discussion on here. If you don't like it, don't read it. Nobody is trying to waste your time. I am not holding a gun to your head asking you to read it.

These games are a great reasorce, and I quite understand the effort that goes into producing them. I have myself meant to write up a game or 2 and the effort is considerable. Please take this in the good humor it is intended.

That said, I really think you should put a comment in the first post that you may not finish this game. To read this many posts to find it is not going to finish is a bit hard. You are advertising it in your sig.

I never said the game was dead, just that I need some time away from all my CFC stuff to focus on other things. (Sorry, that's still the case.) I hope to come back and renew the game in the new year some time.

I have been looking at all of the All Leader Games and think you should get back to this one assoon as possible but dont stay up all night doing it unless it is on a Friday or a Saturday Night.

I don't have Civilization IV but I have played it at my cousins house during Christmas, but I do have Civilization III Complete and have been playing a few games on Regent and Warlord levels and have been practicing different strategies on taking down civs and their armys and have come up with a plan:
(I don't have civ 4 and probably wont get it until my birthday in May)


Using your STACKS OF DOOM create 2 stacks: Send STACK #1 through Saladins East Flank and Stack #2 through his West flank.

Make them converge on his capital and then finish off any stragglers you see and keep in tough with Mansa for he could be a valuable ally or vassal later on.

One more thing, If you had to choose a Religeion I will deffinatly choose CHRISTIANITY!!!

I don't see why he can't just cripple him immediately, and go straight for the capital, taking his most productive city immediately, while he has the most troops. The rest of the cities is easy cleanup. And you have to remember that he doesn't have many cities up yet, so 2 SoDs will be hard to come by. Better just one Swordsman/Catapult stack.

Anyway, the thread is dead for the moment, so meh.

I have only played Warlords and Civilization 3 Complete this is what I used for all of my strategies.

1. I weaken their economy

2. I declare and attack their outer cities

3. I fortify the cities and defeat any counter-attacks for the next few turns.

4. Attack the inner cities and Capital with Huge Armies (Healing and resting if neccessary)
5. Win the War and the Civ I was going against is no more.
