Don't even get me started on that map. At least they got Africa mostly right though, which is extremely rare in maps of the Ottoman Empire. Karalysia, I'm curious if all the differences in Africa, that are visible in various maps of the OE online, don't ring a bell... Haven't they ever made you think that there might be something fishy going on with all those maps?

Agreed, it was simply only the first one I've found online. It's still a hard thing to pwn though, even if a chronic map would've been used.

Yes, they all did. Unless by "conquer" you mean "conquer every territory that has ever been held by the Ottoman Empire", in which case, the Ottomans never conquered Byzantium either!

It's most likely one of two things

2. they were Catholics who settled in Glasgow.

The latter are usual termed "Irish-Scots", rather than "Scots-Irish". There was a small population of Scots-Irish-Scots, too, but they folded back up to plain old "Scots" within a generation or two.

Why are we bothering with the Lolloman Empire and the Byzantium Empire which fought over a little bit of land in the mediterrean whilst the Britiish ruled over a quarter of the world's surface. It is obvious why it took so long to deliver a British Empire map cuz everybody is jealous of us.
