Us Central Europeans think of Eastern Europe as poor, poverty, Communism etc. and it is considered offensive here.Cor, what is it about Eastern Europeans that make them so bitter about being Eastern European?

Also not to mention the fact that Culturally, Genetically, Ethnically, Economically, and the list goes on forever, we are much closer to Western Europe then to Eastern Europe.
I can't think of any Western European states that are Slavic. I can't think of any Western European states that were under Communism. I can't think of any Western European states that are anywhere near as poor as Eastern European countries. I can't think of any Western European states that have been under foreign occupation for a very long time. The list goes on forever.
So you have to be Celtic, germanic, or Latin to be western European? Who knew!
East Germany was Communist.
I can't think of any Central European states that are anywhere near as poor as Eastern European Countries. Besides you could argue that Ireland, Portugal, Spain were all poor untill very recently Like central Europe.
I'm assuming for the last one you mean in modern history. Let's see, what about Malta and England?
let's just stick to the Central Europe definition. it is where we belong, and there is no way you'll be able to change our minds.
Central Europe - Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, The ones to the East of Central Europe are Eastern, The ones to the west are Western. The Nordic countries are Nordic. (Let's not argue Southern Europe).
Case closed. Poland is in Central Europe.
Are you being sarcastic?I can't think of any Western European states that are Slavic. I can't think of any Western European states that were under Communism. Most people in the West will consider the old DDR as being part of Eastern Europe rather than western europe, both because of its history and because it is considerably worse off than its BRD bretheren.
What happened to the the Ukrainians and Bulgarians? oh and the Croats? Are you being sarcastic?
France was under foreign occupation for a very long time. So was Belgium and the Netherlands, and the rest of "Western" Europe under Nazi occupation. Italy is as corrupt, if not more than most "eastern" European nations.
So your definition of "eastern European" is a poor, Slavic, foreign-occupied nation? That's like...what? None? The only true slavic nations in "Eastern Europe" are (AFAIK) the Republika Sprska of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and of course, Serbia itself. That's isn't much. And neither of those were foreign-occupied (again, AFAIK).
What's DDR and BRD? two abbrevations i'm not familiour with.

I'll stick to the traditional definition of Eastern European which is all of the Warsaw Pact states. Thus Poland is Eastern European.
I really do not see the point. I'm going to conquer all of Europe anyway.
