Make a NES from Das' map that he just showed us. It looks like it would make a great one

What is it with people using my alt. hist. scenarios as NES settings lately? Is it a Black Army-Polar Bear conspiracy or something? If so, is the Most Vile Guild of NES-Killers involved?

the Turks never come into power, leading to no crusade and a stronger Byzantine empire?

The Turks still did came to power, though the Byzantines are stronger then in OTL because it wasn't very hard not to be. No crusades though

This PoD is a rather easy one, really.

Not at all. Though Tibet is somewhat more preserved then in OTL. You will, however, be probably surprised if you saw a map of OTL 9th (I think) century Tibet.

Actually, I wouldn't. ;)

And Panda, it's in the 1200s, not the 800s. :p

What about What Ifs of English History?

We all know that all England was eventually taken into the Saxon Kingdom. But what if that didn't happen? What if the Saxons didn't come at all? What if the Kingdom of Northumbria or Mercia unified all England? OR what if something really outlandish, like the Scots or the Picts unifying it?

(Sorry, just been playin' MTW: VI, andhave been thinking about this sort of thing. :crazyeye: )

But, try to guess the PoD! I mean, you CAN ask about nation names, and these might actually help.

Hmmm... What is the nation in Mesopotamia and Persia? I think I know the PoD.

Pepin never gives the Excharate of Ravenna to the Pope, (Instead giving it back to the byzantines or just keeping it) and hence no Papal States?

He doesn't. But it isn't the PoD, and can you explain to me how exactly does that explain Tang China?
Hmmm... What is the nation in Mesopotamia and Persia? I think I know the PoD.

Well, you seem to be closer to truth then the others. Its the Orguzid (OTL Seljuk Turks) Persian Empire.

Which reminds me - weren't you supposed to say the PoD for your map by now?

the Chinese win at Talas.

No battle at Talas here happened at all. Though it, too, is not the PoD.

Give up yet?

The Chinese finally got off of their high horse (from the Jurychen conquering them) and went outside of the Middle Kingdom

Nah. I already said it is currently ruled by the Late Tang dynasty. No Jurchens here.

Okay, give up yet? I have another one ready...

I won't let this die again...

Anyhow, as said before, everybody is free to use any settings I might post here.

Also, I already have three more guess-the-pod maps done in free time. So hurry up with this one, will you?

MUWHAHAHAHA.

Hint: this PoD was previously mentioned on this thread.

Bah! I give up! I want to see your other PoDs...

Oh, come on, this one is VERY VERY EASY really.

Another hint: it has something to do with religion...
