Here's my Alternet History.

Mar.5 1776- America breaks away from its mother country and calls its self The United States of America.

Mar.10-12- Battle of Lexington. Ends in British victory.

Mar.1776-Jan.1782- The Americana Revolution. Ends in American victory.

Not the Alternet part yet. Gettin close.


Feb.3 1790- Napolian comes under power a little early, because of being born early. Forms his Grande Army and starts to invade Europe. America comes to Eurpoes aid.

1790-1800 The Napolonic Wars have a death toll so high, that it excedded the Black Death, and 100 years war combind and 3 times more! Ends in French victory 50% of Europe excluding England, Spain, Portagul, Russia,and Germany under French control until 1830.

April 4 1999: Titanium dioxide discovered.

That's at least as good as the horrible OP.

bestrfcplayer, you can't have Napoleon being born early. It flies in the face of alternate history. Alternate history is based upon the idea of a slight change in history, such as a battle being won by the other side, Princeps failing to assassinate Franz Ferdinand, or the Cuban Missile Crisis escalating into war. You can't simply say that someone is "born early," especially when Napoleone being born early would entirely negate the circumstances which led to his gaining power to begin with.

You also need reasons for things to happen - why did America enter the European conflict? How in God's nae did the death toll magically exceed the population of Europe at the time? - you can't just say "because..."
