Inherited turn: I'm going to continue building the Pyramids in Persepolis, and rely on our other cities for workers and settlers. Not something I'd ordinarily do, but this variant does call for it.
1830 BC (1) -- Mysticism discovered. Susa warrior -> worker. Spot an orange border, probably the English. I'm going to begin a minimum science run on Polytheism, and try to get other techs by trading until then.
1750 BC (3) -- Contact with the English. Arbela founded on yellow dot -> warrior. Trade contacts with the Americans and Celts to the English for contact with the Ottomans. Trade contact with the Chinese to the English for Alphabet. Trade Alphabet to America for their 40g. Trade all three contacts to Ottoland for Writing and their 20g. Istanbul and London are both on the Pyramids.
1675 BC (6) -- Susa worker -> temple.
1625 BC (8) -- Arbela warrior -> warrior.
1500 BC (13) -- Celts begin the Oracle. Arbela warrior -> settler.
1450 BC (15) -- Establish embassy in Istanbul for 49g -- Istanbul is size 3 with one wheat tile, guarded by 2 spears, and has the Pyramids due in 52. Establish embassy in London for 52g -- it's size 4 and the Pyramids are due in 35, and is also guarded by 2 spears. London has very good terrain and we're not going to beat it to the Pyramids -- I swap Persepolis to the Oracle, we should be able to get that. It's due in 33. Embassy in Washington for 33g -- it's size 1, and has a warrior, settler, and a spear present.
Since we won't get the Pyramids, we should build granaries in our other cities sometime. We're pretty much assured to get the Oracle. I'd like to get the Great Library too, but we have no other cities that can build wonders (and we really would like workers and military!) If Literature shows up among the AI's before the Oracle completes, we should trade for it and swap Persepolis to the Great Library (we should be able to beat the other AI's to it).
It doesn't look like we're going to get more than about 5 or 6 cities peacefully. We should commit to building barracks, build a lot of vet warriors, then do the warrior -> immortal mass upgrade and roll over an opponent (the Celts look like the best target). We should be able to pull this off even with a small number of cities.
It looks like none of the other capitals are coastal, so Pasagardae should be a lock for the Great Lighthouse once Map Making comes in.
