America: Write Your Own History

See what I mean?

So now it's bad to kill your enemies who are trying to take your country? Wow  Honestly this is not a bad thing to say, I would imagine anyone would be hostile if you tried to take their main cities.

RT, is this another Solzhenitsyn?

A Speech Made by Ousted New York Governor Logan Whitmeyer on American Secret Anti-Government Radio Stations, June 1932
Thank you, Rod. *clears throat* I will make a statement that should resound with all of the people listening in right now. We are Americans. I cannot and do not believe that those buffoons in Washington are truly American. They refuse us our rights, whether those rights in question are given to us by the constitution or by natural law. But, by the thinking of great philosopher John Locke, we are endowed with the right to life, liberty, and property, all three of which are being robbed by the Foster administration. Our free speech is being impeded, the unbiased press is labeled as a slanderous organization, and we are being jailed without proper trial. Our petitions fall on deaf ears, and our assemblies are barred from election. There is not one right stated in the First Amendment that is not taken from us by Mr. Zig-Zag. As we take arms to defend our rights, we are labeled secessionist radicals. Yet another right violated. I don't wish to bore you with all of Foster's rights violations, but my point is simple. True Americans, I call on you to defend our rights. Give us a leader that will obey our rights. I can only hope our Communist candidates, if elected, will live up to the standards set by President Debs. Now he was a true American. Thank you.

So anyone care to guess what'll happen if revolution wins?
Foster will be dead, the current Communist party would be disbanded or severely weakened, the nation would either fracture into several weaker communities of groups associating based on political, economic, and social factors, or the nation would coalesce, form a new protection of civil liberties, weaken Federal power in civil unrest, and hold elections.

That is, if a revolution wins. If the option for revolution wins, likely a huge secession crisis, and Foster's forces would be overwhelmed. It's also possible he could be forced to make peace with the rebels.

My guess is there will be a revolution.

You are a genius.

I welcome former New York Governor Logan Whitmeyer to Italy, and I hope that we can collaborate for the restoration of true American democracy.

Well, this is no choice at all, so it's time for...

Peaceful protest

Protesters in California demand open elections and a peaceful solution to the civil war.

British Newspaper The World Daily: June 22nd, 1932
From the Editors:

The American People must demand better. In a nation where the opposition is silent, the government restrains freedom of speech and civil liberties, and endless war has replaced diplomatic dialogue and discussion, the people of the preeminent USSA have suffered injustice after injustice. We are not referring to the economic policy of the USSA, but rather the willful destruction of rights, liberties, and freedoms by "President" Foster. His term began with a promising start, albeit secession has now forever tainted any legacy he may have had during his term. Long thought to be manipulated by other Communist party members in the House and Senate, Forster has done the unthinkable by wiping out the opposition and declaring a crisis within the USSA while restricting civil liberties and free speech.

We encourage President Foster to allow the opposition and relax his laws on censorship and civil liberties. This will go a long way towards healing the divides in the USSA and ending the crisis. Strong arm military tactics only work so long as Foster can maintain stability, which is declining sharply. By allowing free speech and free movement, Forster an allow for the healing of wounds. Even if he is to lose, his reputation and legacy will remain intact.

However, such reforms are unlikely. We thus encourage the people of the USSA to boycott the election and protest the actions by President Foster. The voice of many will only prevail with action and active dissent. The risks are high, but the sacrifice is necessary. We wish our readers in the USSA and around the world the best of luck in these difficult times. Long live democracy and prosperity.
