... that is my only reaction to whatever happened. I did nazi that coming ! However, seeing the extent of rebellion and the war against secessionists, I don't think Russian style despotism can ever really function in the USSA. Americans just won't take it lying down.
On the other hand, I did predict that RT would take a course which would not lead to collapsion. So I proved half right ^_^ .

I still agree with DKVM. We gave Foster a reason to become a dictatorship, opposition. Hitler became dictator (also through democratic reasons) because the allies gave him a reason with the deal Germany got screwed over on in World War 1. They created their own worst enemy.

Did you even read what I said. That was a "what if" type sentence. I know right now things seem bad however he may have not had the opportunity to gain so much power had you not started a war. The president gets special powers during a war that someone politically cunning enough could use to strengthen themselves. That along with all of his opposition leaving the country let him fill the positions of power with people loyal to him. Therefore, if you traitors had settled your actions with words rather than guns, he wouldn't have the right opportunity to do this.
Also, I've stated multiple times that I'm loyal to the government, not Foster. A good comparison would be the Feudal Samurai. They many not like their masters but they are bound by honor to serve them.

Also, the main point of that is that my belief is you're no better than a dictator if you think you need weapons to change something in a democracy. I felt like you were traitors for raising arms against your own country when, if you had stayed and he did do something unconstitutional, you could impeach him. Don't say he would arrest you as he would not even be very powerful if his opposition had stayed in the country rather than seceding.
