American moves to Canada reach record high

Holy crap, we will be the next Iraq.

Well there is this area in Calgary called Forrest Lawn. You could bulldoze that to build your Green Zone if you like.

lol I live near For(r?)est Lawn. Paliser will be the new Sunni district and Braeside will be the Shite district (well, neighbourhoods anyways, whatever)!

Toronto is quite impossible for the Americans to claim. The second you say the words "Melting pot", the city bubbles up in rebellion.

The WASPs will go though. They wont care. Unless our dollar is even, at which point it wouldnt be worth it.

I guess that really depends on what age you are, eh?

HAH! Canada wins! We've Canadianised you! (that's right, with a british s, not an american zed!). Your next task is to learn to roll your R's so you can RRRRRRRRRRoll up the RRRRRRRRRim to win.

I'm sorry if you don't like people who are smarter than you.

Bamspeedy is very smart. You joined too late to be in complete awe of his civ3 abilities.

In all fairness, Civ3 skill is more often about being anal-retentive than IQ. ;)
To figure out where to apply time consuming calculations and covering all bases, so to speak, still takes intelligence. But being hardworking is better than intelligent anyway, in my oppinion.

So did I! I absolutely love Ottawa. My favourite place I've ever lived.

I don't live in Ottawa, and never have, but let me say augrey is right. Ottawa is a truly awesome and beautiful place.

Kanata on the other hand...

I would move to Canada if I were an american (unless I lived in Denver. or went to OSU. those are the saving graces of the states. denver gets cold and snowy like home, loves hockey, has captain canada, has the broncos, and gets hot in the summer)

Minnesota has better hockey, better schools, winter & summer, is almost canada anyway, and we don't deal with altitude issues (cars). :)

Since the number of Americans moving to Canada remains in the five-figures range, no conclusions can be drawn from it--political or otherwise.

The number of people moving is far, far too small to mean anything.

Minnesota? Better hockey? Hardly...Boston's got Minnesota beat for American hockey.
