usually the only time i will move my settler is if im standing
on top of wheat/cow/game. one BG doesn't mean that much
to me in the whole scheme. going with Tsukemono5 is fine
with me. chop down the forest on the game to help build the
granary, then irrigate and we'll be at +4 food. good job

Yup. I agree with Tsukemono5! He does have the best one so far. So the line up is;

This makes Tsukemono5 last as he wished and CF second to last due to that he cant be here till next monday. I'm playing the game around 5:00pm (-5GMT) so Takeo be ready to take the save.
 
A little early then what I said, but the earlier, the better!

Pre-turn- Nothing realy changed.

3. Wow getting boreing...

5. We get pottery! I begin Writing at a min. getting 4gpt. Changed Barracks in Delhi to Granary to be done in 5 turns, growing in 1.

6. Delhi grows to size 3! I pop a goodie hut and its deserted. We find a barb camp a little North-West of Delhi, I moved one of our exploring warriors closer to attack. Moved lux. to 20% to prevent disorder in Delhi. Worker finished road were it was and is moving to the Game to make a road.

7. Attacked Barb camp and lost:mad: :mad:! Thats not good. I moved another warrior towards it.

8. Delhi; Granary> Settler in 5 turns. Began road in game, still debating whether to clear forest :confused:. I attacked the barb camp and won!!! :D

14. Delhi; Settler> Warrior (moved east near the cattle and gems). Popped a far goodie hut and got barbs. Attacked a barb camp and lost, again on a mountain!!!!!!!! :mad: :mad: I lower the lux to 0%.

15. We have contacted the Chinese!!!!! Wow! They have 3 more cities then us and BW, Masonry, TW, WC, and 35g. We have Alphabet over them :). I traded them Alphabet for Masonry and 10g. I took Masonry becuase I think Math should be our next Que sinse the AI dont realy go for that realy. I decided to clear the forest (next leader may change at the cost of one turn).

To the next ruler- The settler moved revealin a barb 2 turns away from it, I suggest moving the settler back and taking the upcoming warrior with it. If writing finished then I suggest either Liturature or Math to go with.

Alternate settler->warrior till we can get onto a 5-3 cycle.
DON'T CHOP THE GAME YET!!! It's a waste of worker turns. We don't get the food bonus in Despotism, and there are BGs unmined! BGs first! And remember: under Despotism, mine grassland, irrigate plains, road EVERYTHING.
 
You do if you irrigate, it puts it up to three food per turn and no one shield production.

Still, that's a lot of turns, but compared to what the outcome will/may be, it might be worth it.
 
Despotism takes one food away

Game = +2 food
Plains = +1 food
Irrigate = +1 food

All = 4 food
Despotism -1 food

Final = 3 food
 
Was looking at the screenie, that might be an old one, not sure.

Also, isn't that on plains? Judging from what I saw in game, I thought it was a plains.

I could be wrong though, I am colorblind afterall. :p
 
the game is on plains, so it would be a total of 3 food. is it worth 13 worker turns to get 1 extra food?
 
Early on, no. However, the extra food is nice when trying to grow some after despotism.

And those shields can be used to a good use, barracks or a quick temple.
 
I think our worker would be put to better work mining bgs so we produce stuff faster overall.
