An Enron Movie

I don't see the problem with this. There are made for TV movies about all sorts of stories. They are a way of exploring the facts behind a situation which a lot of people are interested in. Most people just know that something dodgy happened at Enron and then it went bust - this program could be a way of filling in the gaps for those people who are interested and want to know more. They would have done it as a drama rather than a documentary because that gets better ratings.

I can't understand why people are getting so up tight about it. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

Well, I certainly didn't watch it. I don't watch that trash. I try to stick with the classier, more educational programs.

BTW, anybody notice the Simpsons also had an Enron bit last night? The Enron ride at Disney World......a rollercoaster, of course, that starts in the 'penthouse' and ends up in the 'poorhouse', lol.

Oh dear, if its going to be made into a typical film, then will there be a hero in the film with his side kick girlfriend who reveal the corruption and save the day? And will all the baddies will be found and punished...?

@VoodooAce: I saw that and you beat me to it! It was hilarious when they rode it. They went really far up (climbing and makin money). Then they crashed and you could hear someone say "at least we broke even," and then they went even farther down into the poorhouse and someone said "Thats good satire!"
My favorite show.

People have a problem with it because Enron insiders unloaded stock and made money will all the employees went broke (example of a guy investing 100% in his 401(k)). And now they're making money off of it turning it into a show, I guess that pisses people off.
