An rpg question

In theory yes, in practice, well I wish I had many lives
You should see my games library. I have over 200 Gb in games currently active and I don't have most of my "turn of the millennium" games installed! :D

I recently had to de-install a few, simply to have space left on my HD for other stuff. :D

Diablo 1&2 are awful games, and don't even deserve to be called RPGs.

Off the top of my head, most productions by Bioware, Black Isle and Troika are above average to amazing.

Diablo 2 was and is one of the best multiplayer RPGs ever made. How dare you.

You guys have not mentioned the original Fallout games. This makes me sad.

In Fallout 2, you can be a child-killing drug-addicted Gigolo Mafia member pornstar tribal villager who kills the President of the United States by throwing a flare into his eyes, followed by a rocket launcher into his bodyguard's groin. That's the amount of freedom you have.

The environment is also quite engaging.

And as others have said, the Witcher was pretty good.

Yup Fallout 2 is probably tied for first place for me. It is tied with Baldur's Gate 2.

honorable mentions: Baldur's Gate 1, Dragon Age: Origins, Planescape: Torment, Fallout 1.

I downloaded The Witcher from GamersGate three months ago during their summer sale. So far, I have not been disappointed in the slightest. :)
