Ancient and medieval units. Please Help.

I'm working on a scenario for PTW and I needed a little help I'm tring to find a list or information on units from the medieval and ancient times. Whats units did they have and who had what.

You might want to be a bit more specific: you want details on every military unit from 4000BC to 1500AD?

Maybe it would be easier to tell you what I had in mind. I want to make civilization alittle more real so I'm goint to try and create a set of unit for each civilization so all I really need is some well rounded units for

Germany
China
India
Russia
England
Arabs
