Well, it's getting on for a full 24 hours that my file has been "pending approval" at 3ddownloads. I'm sorry for the delay as I'm really keen for you all to play the updated mod!
In the meantime, I've begun work on the website. It's going to be quite informative and I've quite a few pages to play with. Each civilization will have its own page, which will outline units, special buildings and have a little history about the civilization. Additionally, there'll be pages telling you what each building does. I've uploaded the page on Indian buildings, so that you can see what it looks like.
I now need to think about actually changing a few things in the game, to make it easier to integrate new civilizations. I think that the Nubian advantage of having no need to have access to resources will spill over to other African nations, so if that's the case, I'll need to rename some of the units from "Nubian xxx" to "African xxx." Nubia still has its unique buildings as well, so if, for example, Axum came into play, it would have different buildings that generated culture and trade. Also, I'd need to consider taking out the Hanging Gardens and Nimrod's tower; whilst I can replace them with something else that has the same effects, I can't ignore that Babylon will be looking towards owning at least the Hanging Gardens for itself!!
In other news, I've pm'd Ogedei this morning to ask him to choose some civilizations for "Culture clash," which I'll be working on over the Christmas/New Year holidays (which are now only eight weeks away - it'll be here soon

!!) This will be an expansion to Anno Domini, in which five culture groups will battle it out in the Anno Domini world; four Asian civs (including the Qin, Ogedei will choose the other three) , four European civs (most likely the Anglo-Saxons, Goths, Norse and Serbia), four Mediterranean civs (most likely Athens, Macedonia, Rome and Sparta), four Middle-East civs (most likely Egypt, Nabataea, Persia and perhaps a newbie - Babylon) and, of course, the four Indian civs in the classic game - Chola, Harappa, Kushan and Maurya. Given the amount of buildings and information Ogedei has on the Asian culture group, I could probably go to the same lengths I have with the Indian culture group, thanks to Blue Monkey.
Another future plan would be to do a BIQ containing British tribes and invaders - regular British civs Brigantia, Iceni and Scots will feature, of course, along with the Coritani and Eire making an entrance with possibly one other British minor civ. In terms of the invaders, expect to see regular civs like the Anglo-Saxons, Jutes, Norse and Rome along with new boys the Frisians and the Normans. This would be just a twelve-civ game, intended to introduce the new civilizations (as well as to indulge me!)
Anyway, enough of future plans, my first priority is to make sure that the regular version of the mod works! I have, through gameplay, noticed a couple of minor errors, so the patch is available before the expansion

!! It's in post one; if anyone wants to download it, they will find the civilopedia and BIQ in there (I know some people like a sneaky peek

). I'll post here as soon as I hear from 3ddownloads.
