As you're all aware, I've been working on Anno Domini for some time now; it's coming towards the end, but there's plenty of fine tuning to do. This includes completing little bits and pieces with respect to some civilizations, refining the civilopedia and making some units. I'm not sure when it's going to be finished, but I'm hoping for some time in October.
Yesterday, I pm'd a few people on the forum with some updates, and it's got me thinking. Should I upload what I've got so far to 3ddownloads, so that those that want to can have a play?
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
I will stick by the vote here and will upload ready for the coming weekend if the vote is in favour of me uploading. For the record, my vote is yes, because I think that the feedback will be useful, there's not that many gaps and I know some people want to play certain civs !

Advantages:
- Players will be able to download and play the game ahead of schedule (although it's not quite complete, but nearly there)
- Vital feedback can be incorporated into the full version
- Potentially, less to patch when a full version comes out, as it will be caught in the beta test
- Playtesters will be allowed to use any new leaderheads and units in their mods should they wish
Disadvantages:
- People will have to download the full version in it's entirety, there won't be an upgrade version available (sorry)
- It isn't quite finished, so a handful of civs have a small gap in the tech tree (I suppose, don't play them applies if you're that bothered!!)
- Lack of surprise with all the new goodies bundled together when the mod comes out
