Annoying Advisors?

When I first heard of the return of advisors I was mildly excited. But after seeing some gameplay video featuring them they just seem like an annoying feature that will pop up with useless information that means more clicks for you they put in to help the noobs. What do you think?

Of course the design cracks at Firaxis would never think of putting in a check box in the Options screen to turn Advisors off

I'm sure there would be a "turn off advisers" option, like there is now. It's only meant to help out new players.

Also, all pop-ups come in "notification" form as an icon on the right hand size, they can be ignored if you dont want to click on advisor pop ups

Still hoping for a return of the Civ2 advisors. I'm sure they can find the actors around somewhere.

Yeah I would of liked to see those guys back, or different creative and new interpretations, just so long as they don't ever repeat the huge ear drum shattering mistake of civ rev advisors.
