Hey folks,
I've installed the new 1.09 patch and have tried out the "low resolution textures" checkbox in the graphics tab of the options dialog. I haven't been able to discern any difference, either in graphics quality or framerate. Further, there's a new dropdown for texture quality which seems to compete or contradict the "low resolution textures" checkbox.
I'm using the latest build of BlueMarble (1.02). Despite toggling and even restarting, I just don't see any differences. Is it possible that because I already have my antialiasing disabled and sliders/shaders at 1.1 that I wouldn't receive any added benefit?
