Oh yeah, platinum, not deluxe.
The one thing I didn't like about Anno 2070 that wasn't a problem with 1470 (or whatever) is that they made you log into an annoying thing before you could play. They tried to make it more multiplayer and more a part of some social thing, but.. it just made everything a bit more annoying. Not a dealbreaker, I just prefer 1470 more.
It's 1404 (all the numbers of any Anno game add up to 9, if you didn't notice that... i.e., for Anno 2070, 2+7+0+0 = 9; for Anno 1404, 1+4+0+4 = 9; and so on).
Apparently the whole dramedy with Anno 2070 was like a lite, spiritual predecessor to the gut-wrenching dramedy that is SimCity 2013.
Anyhow, as for Anno 2070, how do the building/resource chains compare to that of, say, Anno 1404, or even the old-school Sierra city builders? Or, heck, Tropico 4, how complicated and/or predictable are its building/resource chains? (I've heard Settlers 7's building chains were horridly complex, though.)
Although I used to be able to play those building/resource chain-based city-builders much more often when i was younger, they're starting to tire me out nowadays, as it turns into "learn what the building/resource chain is, build it, rinse and repeat" sort of thing for me in contrast to, say, the old SimCities, which is sort of like that on a more abstract scale but has more room and freedom to mess around for the lulz in my opinion.
