I was searching through the Civ V folders today and I found a Dawn of Man mp3 entitled Mongolia. Looks like they were originally going to add Mongolia as well. Oddly they use Temujin instead of Genghis Khan. Anyone else noticed this?

It was mentioned as soon as Steam allowed people to pre-load, and the general consensus is that Mongolia will probably be the first DLC civilization.

I searched load of XML (just for fun) and found Mongolia too... and Spain.
Just in case anyone is unaware, Temujin IS Genghis Khan's birth name... Nice touch indeed!

By the way, other fun bonuses in the Sounds folders include tech quotes for: Agriculture (in the tech tree, but not heard in game), Calculus, and Publishing.

"Ghengis Khan" just means like "Universal Ruler" or something like that. It would be like calling the leader of America "The President of the United States" (except if there were only one President in history).

Chinggiz Khaan isn't a name at all. It's a title that has become synonomous with the person himself. It is slightly more acceptable than if they had named Elizabeth "Her Majesty the Queen of England."

No, not much, that's why I thought changing to "Temujin" was a nice touch instead of correcting a grievous wrong or something like that. That said, the name/title "Genghis Khan" of course just sounds a lot cooler spoken out loud, and gets him more brand recognition in a crowded warlord market.
