Anyone up for a high micro SG?

Izzy if we agree not to go with Conquistadors. Expansive is becoming a trait I enjoy more and more.

Salad otherwise (draft draft draft!) for the early safety.

So I've added Benginal and Pomthom to the roster.

It looks like Izzy is getting a lot of votes, as is saladin. There are concerns about the power of conquistadors.

So if we refuse to abuse (or even use?) use conquistadors, does that make anyone change their votes?

Oh well, looks like I can't break the ice of conventionalism. :lmao:
C'mon friends! Even TMIT started playing Sid to feel free of particular leaders flavors.

But if I see no difference in votes, I'll change mine to make the final decision easier.
Regarding the new leaders mod, I definitely retract. I was just trying...

I think the new leaders mod is interesting. It's not like we can't dig in the XML to find out the complete leader stats anyway...

I remember TMIT playing Sid a long time ago as well... also I remember him creating custom AIs that would tech whore like Mansa, unitprob of 50 (?) and favouring cottages to stay up in tech. That would be for an AI tourney

Woohoo, are you telling me you are with me...or you're just cheering me up? :dunno:

Wow, a peaceful techer with a psycho side. Yepper, that alternative is also interesting, that is making new leaders characteristics out of simple XML changes.

I'm with you on this suggestion . There's no real difference once you know the XML values (or don't know them).

Even if random personality was on, it'd make little difference. So long as the basic BTS game concepts are unchanged - what's so bad in adding a bit of flavour eh?

EDIT: btw, got a link to that?

Yes. It's CIV Gold. Just downloaded that just before making the suggestion just to check if the rules were unchanged and they are.
Basically, just a mod that does the job of including all leaderheads made by people for the lazy. Some leaders got interesting UB and UU (and some got even more crappy ones; seriously, who the hell thought of making super scouts (150% vs animals or 3 :move:) !). For instance, IIRC, Teuta civ got an unchanged library, but unlocked by Mysticism. Like wow! :D

Yes, it says 15-20 mins loading, but I think they got it wrong (or got a really really crappy computer). It took me 8 mins and my computer is rather old and bad. That's the only downside, but since people will have their 5 turns like every two weeks, that 8 mins isn't hurting that much per person.

Oh, if the mod was ultimately chosen, we could call this game : " A new world " since we'll confront a new bunch of AI's (and btw, older ones are still there too ofc).

Geesh, all those leaders and I don't think I've seen the forbidden combinations... although I wasn't looking for Org/Pro.
EDIT: Hussein is Org/Pro...
EDIT2: Lorenzo as Cha/Cre.

Wow, already you have set it up. You made it quite fast. :)

You're surprised!? Modders simply have no sense of balance, I can assure ya. When you meant forbidden, you meant IND/PHI I guess for example. I seen come across some threads with comments of casual players and actually, man, some stuff are heretic occasionally. And of course, when I'm involving, I'm always the wrong one. Suuuure.
Hey everyone, let's boost the Praets with 25% against axemen along the already implemented 25% against all melee. It's historical and well-justified.
Suuuure, mah boi.
But of course, it's not a problem, we choose what it balanced and if something is unbalanced, we leave it to the AI. Anyways, the AI can't tap to exploitative stuff anyways. :goodjob:

Anyways, I guess "Gesshh" is negative?

Okay. Does the extra leaders mod work with some improved version of the interface? (Bug or something that includes bug)

Took me 10 minutes to load but setup is quite simple thanks to .exe.

BUG/BULL is a total failure on my end.

The Phillipines are totally broken - or a mistake in XML. Granaries grant +10 :hammers:. Not +10%, +10 !

You try to read too much between lines Tachy ;)

EDIT: ahh, here's the thread from TMIT. It was 90 unitprob, not 50!

I think Pigswill signed up as well (twice )

The runaway AI from TMIT sounds interesting. But the attachment is gone. =(

I've seen I'm not in the first page, don't forget my sign in :)

If we can have new profiles of AI from a MOD, I'm ok to use them.

Okay taking initiative here.

I'm going to roll a start on the water map tomorrow night (about 24 hours from now)

A quick headcount says izzy has 4 votes and saladin has 2.

Quick question because I am new to BUFFY, I'm not seeing the option to place the AIs in teams. Should we use a different mod instead? Should I worldbuilder it in?
