wasn't there a life3 or Spirit 3 that could remove Crazed, or at least compensate the defect ?
for Mutated, I would like something indeed so as to be able to remove the negative effects with some investment.
in vanilla, with a priest you could remove part of the negative effects.
and sometimes there were few or no negatives.
in AoE there are almost always negatives.
I used to find mutation as a "high risk high reward game", in which 1/3 were good, 1/3 good + removable issue or manageable (weakness to X, increase movement cost...etc), 1/3 bad.
Now they are all medium or bad; I have never anymore a "good" mutation. Only "good enough". If I have +20%combat, I get -1attack, or -30%heal, or sthng)
