When you are playing a video/computer game/watching a movie/reading a book/you get what I mean, are you happy, or just entertained?

Video games, movies, books and all of that help us fill the time between moments of happiness.

More entertained than "happy". "Happy" is happily married to a beautiful woman, with a few children, living near the rest of your family in Suburbia, rich, and healthy.

It distracts me enough (if what Im watching is worth a damn) so that I forget to punch myself in the head every few minutes. :)

Just entertained. I mean, I'd certainly consider myself happy when doing something I enjoy, but it's not as cool as doing, um, happier stuff.

Just entertained. If I had a Girl Friend, I would the happiest guy on the planet :sigh:.

With those things, usually just entertained. If I'm playing a video-game with a friend with some sort of voice chat going on, then it might push it to happy :)

Particularly if I'm winning

Gaming does not bring me happiness. Waking up next to the girl I love every morning does.

I'm sorry to hear that.

both or neither.

I'm always happy one way or teh other.

I am usually happy when playing a video/pc game. Sometimes a bit stressed out though.

Mostly just entertained. Sometimes I'm happy from doing those things. Sometimes I'm happy because of other things; sometimes I'm happy for seemingly no reason!
What she said.
Sometimes I'm happy when playing games, sometimes when watching films. Mostly I'm just a mindless vegetable with no emotions but those of the protagonist in the film. It's good to forget sometimes.
Happiness comes and goes with no relation to what I do. I do things because they're right, or because they're sensible or necessary or most efficient. Happiness does what it likes around that.
