but I had found out the hard way, that I have difficulties to change the sea to ocean borders ( I believe wCSO.pcx ), since I am unable to tell them apart.

Despite that, I am using Ares de Borg´s terrain (being very careful with early ship movements ).

Why don't you have the colours replaced by ones you can actually see and distinguish, and then change it back?

I have darkened parts of the color palette with irfanview.



It may look somewhat crude, but the change is enought, that I can now differ between sea and ocean.
