Trajan12 said:How do you feel about the new US Army slogan? I think its lacking that special something, a verb maybe. Army Strong.
Trajan12 said:Whoa, Ultraliberal. Armies exis to keep order, to counter threats and incursions, and to maintain international law.
If they maintain "law" then why are they so quick to murder? Is it not against the law to be a murderer?Trajan12 said:At least they could use a full phrase

So what is your solution? Do you have one? Its nice to preach pure peace but in the real world it doesn't work.greenpeace said:Wow, you must think I'm differently abled (AKA mentally challenged). I think that the last thing we should do when one of our brothers or sisters becomes very corrupted is to let them stay or become more corrupted and I also don't beleive we should murder our brothers and sisters. We must not pretend like we are better by murdering at a different time for the same reason. The chronological order of murder does not matter. We need to reach the world and spread rationality and the fact that murder is murder, and thats how we turn people who view others as enemies into people who view others as brothers and sisters whom people truly are.
Don't misunderstand, I have nothing against people in armed forces and retired servicemen, that would go against that which I stand for. They are my brothers and sisters nothing less.

If you read the entire post instead of the second line you'll find out.skadistic said:So what is your solution? Do you have one? Its nice to preach pure peace but in the real world it doesn't work.
I see, I would not want to have a liberal equivalent to fred felphs.Mr. Dictator said:i beg of you not to think that's how liberals think
greenpeace is to liberals as fred phelps is to conservatives.
Dont know if you watch The Tonight Show but Leno has had me laughing about that slogan for days. The slogan makes me laugh. But if you say Army Strong 100x fast, it starts to sound like "I'm Strong"
I read it all but its not a real world solution. Its idealism and thats just not going to work. So I ask again to you have a solution? A real one, one that has a chance of working?greenpeace said:If you read the entire post instead of the second line you'll find out.

You know education is going down the drain when you need to spend hundreds of milions of dollars to come up with two words that make no sense.skadistic said:I read it all but its not a real world solution. And the slogan sucks big time.
Thats why I love checks and balances, one of our better ideas. I just think liberalism is to unrealistic to play a part combat. Maybe im wrong. Liberals in war time to me serve as a counterweight to prevent things like that. In peacetime however we do need progression.Mr. Dictator said:better than the entire nation blindly following authority just because its authority.
look at nazi germany.
not saying we're in the same situation but it is an example of a nation blindly following leadership.

What happened to Ghandi?greenpeace said:So you mean when Ghandi led his revolution it had was not a real world solution?
How about this, how is having an institution of that is dedicated to mudering people going to solve anything besides being able to murder others?

Um, he became a revolutionary leader who has inspired genrations. Please, the fact that someone shot and killed him doesn't mean that he is a complete failure or that his achievmetns and ideology all are wrong. That's one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in a while (much worse was when nares- not narz- said that "at least [Mahatma] Ghandi had the decentcy to starve himself so that the rest of us productive people could have more food.").skadistic said:What happened to Ghandi?
You can be as peacefull as yopu want it just makes you an easier target for those who want to kill you.
